A colorless landscape before me,
This is the land I’m planted in,

Feeds the whole ambience.
The old wooden houses
Greet me in these familiar streets,
A soft rain washes my sinful thoughts
And the cold breeze hardens my heart.
I embrace all the impurity and ugliness,
I rejoice at the grotesque of this nature,
I was planted in here,
My memories will never leave.
